The Style Agenda, July 5 - July 11

Get inside the head of a trapped housewife, shop traffic-free on Regent Street and celebrate the passions of the late Amy Winehouse.

View unpublished work from Miles Aldridge
This summer Somerset House is hosting the largest showcase of Miles Aldridge's work to date. The retrospective exhibition I only want you to love me , will coincide with the publication of the internationally renowned fashion photographer's eponymous book. Expect dramatically vivid photographic prints - including previously unpublished works - interspersed with drawings, Polaroid pictures, and magazine editorials.

Mix gin with vintage

Celebrating a love of ice cold gin and tonics and retro clothing, the G&T Vintage team are setting up shop (and bar) in Manchester's trendy Terrace Bar on July 6. Always on the lookout for local designers, expect unique wares from up-and-coming talented crafts folk. 1 - 6pm, Terrace Bar, Thomas Street, Northern Quarter
Carnaby's year long celebration of music comes up trumps this Saturday with a free music festival. 15 bands, including A*M*E and Young Knives, will grace different venues along Carnaby Street , or the main stage atop Liberty's roof. Giveaways and street food sellers make this a summer-in-the-city must.
Your bling ring
We love a nice statement ring, especially when it lends itself to everyday wear, such as this one in gold-plated brass by the Mexican brand Tosca. £135.50, from boticca.com

Tune into Carnaby's sound
